Bangalore- the capital of Karnataka, a southern Indian state ranks as the fastest growing city in Asia-thanks to the presence of home grown- global IT giants such as Infosys and Wipro and global IT major such as Texas Instruments, Microsoft, Google and others. It is also home to more than 300 IT companies earning the sobriquet- Silicon Valley of India. The city also abounds in picturesque parks and gardens such as the Cubbon Park, the enchanting botanical gardens Lal -Bagh, both situated in the heart of the city- thus earning another sobriquet- the Garden city.
