Prof. Andrew Large is CN-Pratt-Grinstad Professor of Information Studies at McGill University and former Director of its Graduate School of Library and Information Studies.
His research interests are in information-seeking behavior, information retrieval and human-computer interaction, and he has published widely in these fields.
His most recent books are Digital Libraries: Principles and Practice in a Global Environment (2005), The Manual of Online Search Strategies, 3rd ed (2001) and Information Seeking in the Online Age (1999). He is co-editor of the quarterly journal, Education for Information, and is on the editorial boards of four other journals.
